Streamlining
Many of us spend a large part of our day performing tasks that could just as easily be handled by someone else.
It’s worth examining how you spend your time and recognising how much of your day could be reclaimed and rededicated to your most important and valuable work.
Four words to think about when you’re looking to streamline a repeatable process, saving you time to focus on doing the work that only you can do.
ISOLATE and document the different steps that need to happen from beginning to end.
ELIMINATE the parts of the process that don’t actually add any value to the final product.
AUTOMATE the steps that don’t need to be done manually.
DELEGATE the tasks that need to be done by hand but not necessarily by your hand.
Do you have an example of a process you’ve managed to streamline? I invite you to share it in the comments. Your experience could be very valuable to another reader!
